We’re Building Sauter — And We Want You at the Table

I’m not interested in another picture-perfect food magazine. The world already has a thousand of those. I’m interested in a space where food feels alive again — where recipes have a story, where home cooks can be as daring as chefs, and where creators actually show the mess behind the magic.

That’s why we’re starting Sauter

It’s our own unapologetic kitchen-lab disguised as a magazine. A place for food lovers, home cooks, influencers with flour on their phones, anyone who cares about taste and aesthetics in equal measure. Spring 2026 will be our first issue. It won’t be sterile. It won’t be safe. It will be vibrant, honest, bold.

We’re not building Sauter to lecture or posture. We’re building it to connect. To inspire. To break some rules. To give people permission to cook differently and tell their food stories in their own way.

And here’s the thing: we’re doing this as an independent project. That means we’re looking for fellow misfits who want to build this with us — editors, writers, photographers, stylists, recipe developers, people who know how to make a spread sing. If you’ve ever wanted to be part of a magazine that isn’t afraid to get its hands dirty, this is your invitation.

We launch in March. Until then, we’re pulling ideas, recipes, images and stories together. If you’re curious — or if you’re the person we’re looking for — drop us a message or sign up for the newsletter below.

Let’s create something that tastes like spring and looks like nothing else out there.

Welcome to Sauter.

Call for Contributors — Join Sauter

We’re pulling together a small, hungry team to bring Sauter to life.
If you’re an editor, writer, photographer, recipe developer, food stylist or just someone with a wild food idea that belongs in print, we want to hear from you.

We’re looking for people who:

  • Think about food differently

  • Shoot or write with personality, not templates

  • Are excited to help build a bold, independent food magazine from the ground up

Send us a quick intro, a few links or samples of your work, and what you’d love to contribute.

This is your invitation to get messy, creative and part of something new.
